Mr. Murray

If you are my facebook buddy you might have seen a quick glimpse of the newest furry family member, but I thought that Mr. Murray should have a proper introduction. It’s amazing how much of a void remains when a furbaby leaves your family and how much a new one can shrink the hole a bit. They will never take the place of your other love, but they create a new nest within your heart in the place where the pain exists. I wanted to rescue a dog and give some lucky guy a warm bed to call his own. I was open to adopting any dog that felt like the right fit (enters Murray stage right). The moment he came bounding into the room I knew I was done, a goner to that furry face, a sucker for those brown eyes and fluffy wagging tail. But my heart was holding tight to the idea that no other dog could possibly compare to my Prince. Well he’s been with me for a few weeks and I can safely say that although he is nothing like Prince in so many ways, the one thing that he does have in common is the massive heart filled with love that he carries around in that little body of his. The days where I am feeling really down about Prince, Murray is there to look at me like I’m crazy for crying and comes and kisses me, and you know what? It helps. Murray is such a beautiful and loving dog, and to think people probably didn’t give him a second look because he was already 4 yrs old is just silly, but really lucky for me. People are constantly stopping to ask what he is, and we tell them that their guess is as good as mine. Some say cocker spaniel/daschund others say corgie/golden retriever, either way you slice is he is darn cute.

Murray I am sure will be making more appearances on the blog, but for now I thought I would debut the little guy giving you the look he his becoming well known for….”the love me plllllleeeeease”!
