I think that Santa Ynez could possibly be Heaven on Earth, and it’s no wonder why Jamie and Jon chose it for their destination wedding. The Figueroa Farmhouse is nestled way up in the mountains and has the most magical light. Sunsets from up there are to die for! Some day I just may move up there to be able to shoot in that light 24/7.
For me weddings are truly about showcasing who you are as a couple, and this wedding was exactly how I would describe Jamie and Jon, beautiful, warm, and fun. The day was orchestrated by the lovely Kerrie of Platinum Weddings by Kerrie who did a fantastic job with the details. Lately the trend has been soft pastely colors, but this wedding made me fall head over heels for bold bright colors. Modern Day Design made my heart giddy with excitement when I saw the flowers they were goooorgeous. And let’s not forget the adorable ruffled ombre cake topped my Jamie’s grandparent’s cake topper! All in all I was over the moon the whole day jumping from one beautiful thing to capture to another. Oh and it all started with Jamie’s dress and shoes!! Let’s take a moment to talk about how gorgeous she looked, and the fact that Jon actually picked out the shoes for her. *sigh* Ok enough of my mucho blah blah blah and let’s get on to the eye candy!
The guys starting their day off with a bang!
Jon wrote Jamie the most adorable love note attached to her glittery gift.
Other great vendors who made the day awesome!
